A keen fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur, Paul saw a demand and real need for a product that could improve athletes recovery from training and also from injury. A product that would maximize new technology, be user-friendly, portable and would complement existing recovery techniques.

After consulting with many athletes and rehabilitation experts Pulseroll was born. An innovative 4 speed vibrating foam roller that is a perfect tool for both professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

The reaction to Pulseroll was overwhelming, and Paul now spends his time visiting health and fitness expos internationally, working alongside a team of fitness professionals to bring the benefits of vibrating technology to a variety of customers across all demographics.

Jonathan Ferryman

Jonathan has been a Sale Harriers athlete for more than 10 years, winning multiple County and Northern Championship Medals in high jump, long jump and triple jump.

He has a degree in Sports and Leisure Management, and is a Level 3 Personal Trainer & Lifeguard with more than 5 years of experience in the business.

Throughout his personal and professional career, he has dealt with many injuries, and has found that using trigger point therapy, and vibrating recovery technology like Pulseroll’s products very beneficial to both himself and his clients.

Now that he is a part of Team Pulseroll, Jonathan has made it his personal mission and passion to bring the benefits to as many people as possible.

Helen Pybus

Fitness has always played an important part in Helen’s lifestyle, and she began her fitness career in 2004. Her infectious enthusiasm for the success of her clients motivates and leads them on a journey of self-discovery and wellbeing. Always keen to extend her knowledge she discovered the mind and body Pilates method and has trained with amazing national and international instructors. As a result of this, she was invited to teach Pilates in her own bubbly, infectious and unique style to hundreds of fitness enthusiasts designing programs to reflect their needs of everyday stresses on the body and to get people moving in ways they didn’t think were possible!

She is now one of the UK’s leading Pilates presenters.

After a freak neck injury, Helen’s recovery was slow. Upon discovering the Pulseroll she began to incorporate it into her recovery program. Slowly she found not only did she regain strength and mobility, her health and wellbeing also came back.

As a result she was invited by the Pulseroll team to join them as a presenter and share her story and belief in the product. Consequently Helen now has her own Pulseroll team who have taken the UK fitness industry by storm showcasing the positive benefits of using it to help others lead healthy active lives.

Her personality, knowledge and experience she brings to this program saw her receiving a request to video her presentation for an international audience to be showcased worldwide. Exciting times ahead!

Lydia Campbell

Lydia is a renowned fitness industry veteran expert with over 40 years experience. She is the director of FitCamps, Trigger Point Pilates and the Pulseroll Instructor training program. She became an Integrated Myofascia therapist in 2007, combining her Pilates and Sports Therapy work to create results for her clients and educate the fitness world on self-myofascia release.

Originally a dancer trained in Pilates in the 1970s, she entered the world of fitness in the 1980s managing health club studios for 14 years. In 1990 she took fitness to the masses with the first massive fitness weekenders FitCamps. Creator of many exercise programmes, including the video and book Legs, Tums ‘n’ Bums in the 90s, to a series of consumer videos including a functional Pilates series featured by Sky TV. Her Pilates Studio in London was voted twice as the top London studio by Time Out. Lydia has been the recipient of many fitness awards, including an Industry Lifetime Achievement award for her work developing the industry from IFS and World Educational Presenter of Excellence by Virgin Active.

Her life changed when crippling osteoarthritis appeared after years of intense exercise – fitness wore out her knees! She has had eight knee reconstruction operations and a total knee replacement. Lydia knows what scar tissue does to the body and how vital movement and self-myofascial work is a must for a functional life. Teaching her clients how to take responsibility to cope with their physical dysfunction and pain with Trigger Point Pilates and Pulseroll vibration training. She has used the Pulseroll daily to help release fascially from the hospital bed and with the help of Pulseroll’s technology, returned to work just 8 weeks after her operation.

Carroll Locke

Carroll has been in the fitness industry for over 28 years but over the last 16 years, her main focus and passion has been teaching Pilates – qualified in both Modern and Body Control Pilates, she excels in private personalised one to ones and in teaching group classes in clubs, Fitness events, health spas and Pilates retreats abroad.

Carroll presents for Armageddon, Fitness Fiesta weekends, 3ness, Fitcamps, YogaFitIbiza, Champneys Spas and can also be seen teaching Pilates online on and She is very proud of her successful venture, the popular Purely Pilates villa weekend breaks in Portugal.

Carroll’s unique style is reflective of her experience and contagious passion for creating highly motivating classes. She tailors her style from beginners through to advanced students, resulting in many satisfied and loyal clients and group class participants throughout the UK.

Carroll was introduced to Pulseroll after a shoulder injury. It played a major role in increasing the mobility in her shoulder, and her passion for the product got her involved in presenting the Pulseroll products nationally and using them to great results in her private client sessions and in her Feel the Pulse group classes.
